Summary of August 9 Writers Mixer

We've now had our second event and I would say it was a success! We had a total of eight attendees, which is great! Also, we have three new members: Liane, Deb, and Jeff. Thanks for joining! Thanks to Jeff's mom for coming as well. Hopefully she'll join us "virtually" through this online forum.

Tonight we went over our "assignment." We were supposed to write about a conversation between our "current" self and our "younger" self. From our posts, it's evident that we all had slightly, or sometimes completely, different interpretations of this assignment.

We shared some laughs, insights, and basically had a good night I would say!
