Hello there!

So is anyone interested in meeting for a creative writers gathering after the holidays????

If we can get enough enthusiasm to again breathe life into this group, count me in. My weekday calendar for January is pretty open.

As far as writing goes, beginning the first week into the new year, I plan on submitting my two Oregon-targeted travel items (Eureka/Mt. Shasta) to a variety of papers throughout the Beaver State. I may also elect to present the Eureka item at the January writer's read at B&N in the Pruneyard.

As many of you know, I'm still tinkering with my novel and the first half is now set in concrete with two new story threads going into the second half. The first fifty pages was sent off to the Santa Fe Writer's Project competition last month and, if I can finish the entire manuscript by the end of March, I'll be submitting to other competitions as well.
