The 21st Annual Bridge School Benefit Concert will be held at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. This year's concert dates and times are as follows:

Saturday, October 27th at 5 pm and
Sunday, October 28th at 2 pm

Featured artists for both days include:

Neil Young
Metallica
Jerry Lee Lewis
Eddie Vedder with Flea & Jack Irons
Tom Waits and Kronos Quartet
John Mayer

WOW! Tom Waits is going to appear with Kronos Quartet! That alone is worth the price of admission!

I'm sad that my FAVES Foo Fighters are not playing again this year but not so sad that I'm not shelling out $50/hour to see them (last year I ONLY went to see them so basically, that's the per hour price I paid.) John Mayer is one of my faves as well and one of the few I've yet to see live. I'm pretty over these festival-type shows though. It's a big letdown to see your faves play for only 30 minutes, and have to sit thru stuff you don't care for, even if it is for a good cause. I need a full-length show -- and even that sometimes is not long enough. Many of my faves have such large catalogs now that they can't possibly include every great song. They always have to include their hits that sometimes end up being some of my least fave songs. sad.gif
