Academy of Classical Ballet : Alice in Wonderland
The Academy offers a unique, nurturing, and growth-oriented set of programs based on Vaganova, Royal Academy of Dance, and American Ballet Theatre techniques.
We are thrilled to adapt the whimsical, fantastic and magical adventures of Lewis Carroll's engaging heroine Alice as she journeys through Wonderland. In Carroll's classic novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865), Alice is a curious, brave and funny child who finds herself in a strange, dazzling world where normal rules are turned upside down. Our production brings Alice and the characters in Wonderland to vibrant life with stunning costumes, amazing sets, stirring music and dramatically choreographed dance. Once Alice tumbles down the rabbit hole, we know you will be enchanted to see our balletic interpretations of the anxious White Rabbit, the mischievous Cheshire Cat, the menacing Queen of Hearts and other beloved citizens of Wonderland.
